So like, aku tgh study math uwdizh3dlqw susah gila. Stress gila. But aku ada dpat one solution ni. ahak ahak. There you go..example: In an I.Q test, 4 marks are given for every correct answer and 2 marks are deducted for every wrong answer. If crystal answered 30 questions and scored 84 marks, how many of her answers were correct? Solution 1. Understand the problem. 30 questions -> Total marks scored 84 2.Identify the unknowns quantity Let 'p' represent the numberr of correct answers. 3. Form the equation *Total marks for correct answers --> 4p *Numbers of wronganswers --> 30-p *Total marks for wrong answers --> -2(30-p) ( yang ''-2'' ada ''-'' sbb deducted stands for ''-'' kan) *Total marks obtained = 84 --> 4p=(-2)(30-p) = 84 4.Solve the equation 4p + (-2) (30 - p) = 84 4p - 60 + 2p = 84 6p - 60 = 84 6p = 84 + 60 = 144 p = 144/6 = 24 :) Itulah caghe nya ahak ahak. happy trying! :D kalau tak paham, pandai pandai lah :3 |
